Fourth Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum

JUNE 2, 2009  ABSTRACT:  Fourth Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum   The 4th Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum is the only of its kind in the industry and is co-produced with CFSI and SourceMedia (the publisher of the American Banker, US Banker and many other conferences and publications).  It attracts around 500 senior level executives from banking, payments, retail, regulators, nonprofits, credit unions, and private equity funds.  Approximately 50 speakers and presenters are selected from across the industry and include dozens of CEOs, general managers, top thinkers, analysts and researchers.

Bank of America and MIT Media Lab recently formed the Center for Future of Banking to bring together the best research in behavioral economics, computer science, and urban design to imagine new possibilities in banking.  Key members of this new team will share of their work on how new technologies and new thinking can engage a broader mass market of banked and underbanked consumers, focused on those at the bottom of the pyramid.
