Abhishek Mehta is the Strategic Advisor to the Center for Future Banking, the recently announced collaboration with MIT Media Lab. 

In this position Abhishek is responsible for the Bank’s overall strategy and direction for Center, development of the MIT Sloan collaboration and creation of frameworks for business, innovation and investment strategies.

Abhishek is also an Executive with Bank of America’s Corporate Financial Analysis Team. This team  is responsible for assessing the competitive position and performance of Bank of America’s businesses, identifying strategic priorities for the corporation, and recommending strategic alternatives with a particular focus on cross-line-of-business issues.

Abhishek has been with Bank of America since July 2002. Prior to joining the Bank, Abhishek was responsible for developing and managing sales & execution strategies for Cognizant Technology Solutions and was a tax, regulatory and business strategy consultant with Arthur Andersen.  Abhishek has lived and worked in South-east Asia, Europe and the US.

Abhishek holds a Bachelors in Commerce Degree from the Sri Ram College of Commerce (University of Delhi, India), is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Graduate of the Consumer Bankers Associations’ School of Retail Banking Management (United States).

Abhishek is on the Board of Advisors for the Asian Leadership Network and a past Board member of the Diversity Network, both at Bank of America.  

Abhishek is also on the Board of a non-profit institution that helps provide education and vocational training to mentally challenged kids in India.
